About

Our View of Nepal in April and May of 2015, there was a time of terrible pain and distress for all of Nepal. An earthquake hit and destroyed  not only people and property, but also means of survival.  Happiness, joy, and  hope of life seemed lost. However, we praise God that He was still there and wanting to touch through the Holy Spirit. After the quake, so many of God’s people came with helping hands. Our God is great all the time. He
cared for us in all circumstances

A Cry for Help

The situation for children was terrible, especially for those who lost
parents or saw death very close.  Those who were able to escape from the sudden death found life very insecure.   Child traffickers were very active for some time. Many children have been reported missing and are still not found anywhere.

We were trying to help with relief and comfort for the people.  The

government announced to the public that efforts should be made to
save the lives of orphans wherever possible. We saw the condition of the orphans in the villages when we brought in relief items and were working with the people.  Our hearts were broken. The need to save their lives was urgent, so we took some of them with us to our home in Kathmandu. We were still trembling with the memories of the terrible quake.  We searched and found  a larger house that would be safe for our orphan children. We also began proper papers for legalizing our work.  There are many requirements which we are following to establish our orphanage. By the grace, mercy and love of our Lord, our dreams about those orphans are coming true in His right time. We are registering as Grace Mission Nepal as a nonprofit organization with the vision of helping orphans.

In spite of lack and limitations, we are very much grateful to our God as we see the smiling faces of the children.  We have hope for their lives and futures. Let all the glory be to our Almighty God. Our mission was founded with the unfolding of post-earthquake relief.  Our hearts were broken for the orphans
